Maple is a doe that I have always referred to as my ugly ducking. She really had no business staying here. Her dam was GGVG 76 and was about an average producer. But there was just something about Maple that said she should stay here, and I am so glad she did! She has blown away my expectations in the show ring, milk pail, and especially at appraisal! Maple is a great example of "breeding up", and what a good buck can do!

Maple has made so many improvements over her dam and has matured into a lovely doe herself, appraising GVEV 86 as a 2 y/o 2F, earning her milk star in all three categories and peaking at 4.2lbs, and gave me a lovely keeper daughter in 2023! I am, once again, very Maple's with Maple's 3F udder this year and am excited to see her in the show ring!
